ALTERNATIVE HEALING TREATMENTS
JB MYOFASCIAL RELEASE SESSIONS
Release safely and gently the entire Myofascial complex for lasting and comprehensive results.

Fascia is the thin membrane of connective tissue that coats, surrounds, and supports every bone, tendon, muscle, nerve fiber, blood vessel, and organ in the body. It is composed of layers of collagen lubricated by the fluid and polysaccharides (hyaluronans) of the extracellular matrix, from which it arises, in a sense. Its collagen fibers and its fluids both carry signals throughout the entire body.
In addition, it is coated by a refined comprehensive network of nerves analogous to the skin, making it exquisitely sensitive and especially sensitive to movement and vibration. For this reason, it reacts to stress( tightening up), and relaxation (loosening). It not only acts as a protective, stretchable coating but as a ‘body memory’ system. When stresses or strains, the fluid can get sticky and thicken, or dry out and crinkle up.

Fascia runs through the body including at cellular level, if restricted, it can cause all type of symptoms. Our cells have a crystalline nature, and when you apply gentle pressure into a crystal it generates electrical flow. We are electrical beings and our energy/consciousness runs through our fascia. When We are traumatized, fascial restrictions can create a tensile strength of approx. 2,000 pounds per square inch of pressure. This is the equivalent of full grown horses standing on a nerve!. Myofascial Release is a gentle, safe and very effective hands on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
Traditional physical, occupational and massage therapy treats the symptoms caused by the pressure of the “straightjacket” or restriction of the Myofascial system; but does nothing about the restriction that causes and perpetuates the symptoms. This is why so many patients only have temporary results never seeming to get better with traditional therapy. Myofascial restrictions often go unrecognized in health care because they do not show up in any of the standard MFR testing like X-rays, CT scans and blood work for example, whether we're taking acute or chronic conditions. MFR treats the entire Myofascial mind/body complex eliminating the pressure of the restricted Myofascial system.
Myofascial Release can help with many conditions such as cranio/cervical/thoracic/upper & back issues, acute & chronic pain, limited range of motion, TMJ, adhesions. sport injuries and much more. Please click here for more conditions that MFR can help.
